Toronto Painters near Sheppard and Bayview: Here are a few pictures from a project we completed several years ago but returned recently to repair some water damage in the Great Room and basement. What a variety of textures and faux finishes! The colours and design still look great even 8 years later. The paint job looks as if it was painted yesterday. The value of wise colour selection is its timelessness.

Renaissnace Painters created this hand painted backsplash mural with incredible details over the existing stone backsplash. It was sealed upon completion with a low sheen clear coat. Toronto Painters Renaissance Painters have just completed some awesome faux finishing in Woodbridge Ontario on four columns, adjoining panels and a terrific striping finish to the powder room walls. It is quite rare to see a Venetian Plaster finish to rounded columns, in fact, some would say next to impossible but we did it. Using specialized hand made plastic tapered spatulas does the trick. The marble finish looks perfect. Next week we are doing the crown molding and the medallion in this dining room.

This kitchen cabinetry was a typical natural honey coloured maple. What a transformation: custom coloured ceiling, dramatic red for walls and a soft off white for all painted cabinetry and trim. Pot lights were also added by Renaissance as well as beefing up the cabinetry cornice molding. Quite an extraordinary way to inexpensively update an old tired kitchen without going to the expense of installing new cabinetry. All the doors were sprayed off site while the fixed cabinetry was painted on site to duplicate the sprayed on finish using a high density roller.

This simple mid renovation picture actually represents an historic occassion in the history of Renaissance Painters. It represents our very first quotation presented to a client solely from pictures provided by their Realtor. The client was moving from out of town and was not available until the day they took possession. No onsite visit was necessary until the painters actually showed up to paint. Guess what? The quotation from the pictures was accurate as well, and to our credit, the other companies the client approached were unable to provide this sort of service. The entire house was painted but quoted from pictures only. The Singularity is near indeed. Computers and man are destined to merge ever closer.
